I had a similar pair, which I hooked up to my monitor. Then I took a wireless keyboard and typed like that. It worked pretty well, provided the text size was pretty large. If you really want to be a Borg, try cutting the goggles in half to make them into a monocle. Then grab a HandyKey http://www.handykey.com device for typing on the go. For more, see Thad Starner.
